Material Type: amber

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Get what you pay for...
I think this necklace proves the adage that 'you get what you pay for', and perhaps also that 'if it seems too good to be true, it probably is'. Based on some of the rave reviews here, and the low price, I bought this.

It's...words fail me. The pendant is a pale yellow plastic, with darker sequins embedded in it. But the sequins are few and far between so there is no "swirl" effect created to tease the eye, just a pale see-through pendant with about a dozen or so large sequins in it. I'll probably wear it with a costume, or as a Bohemian touch, but only as a sort of tongue-in-cheek effect, because it really does look cheap. A child might be enchanted with it - I'm not sure. It's not a bad piece, but I wouldn't trust the 5 star rave reviews that claim it brings showers of compliments - seems unlikely to me.

I've uploaded 2 customer photos to better portray (I hope) what the necklace looks like. I hope they will be useful to future buyers.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - There are no words...
I couldn't believe how fake and cheap this item looked once I received it. The cord which looks black in the picture is also brown, and very flimsy. The item looks WAY better in the picture than it does in person.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Hippie style Bohemian pendant with suade necklace
This arrived quickly and was packaged nicely and looks exactly as it is pictured. The colors inside are beautiful and it is a suade necklace as it claimed. The stones are pretty and the color is rich. This is one of the best values I found that day while shopping and I'll wear this one this Fall. It's a great buy for the money, very pretty. Even my husband likes it and he rarely likes anything like this.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Frightening
Like nothing I've ever seen in nature or man-made. Very loud and rather like alava lamp stuck in mid-burp. If Ellen had a uglest jewelry contest this would be a good entry. Creepy. My reaction was -- they can't be serious?!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Yeah great for a 12 year old
Price says it all. Maybe nice for a child 12 years or younger but not cute on an adult.

I've heard it said by Dave Winer and many many others: if only Dean had reinvested half the money raised into the Internet, then ...

OK, so you're the Dean Campaign Chief Information Officer in August 2003. The money starts to roll in. $20 million over six months, $2-4 million per month.

What would you spend the money on?

  1. What does your monthly budget look like?
  2. What is your application and infrastructure portfolio?
  3. How much will you allocate to maintenance?
  4. You're building from scratch, so what problems do you hope to avoid through wise architecture?
  5. What are your big milestones?
  6. Who are your key vendors?

How do you spend in consonance with the campaign strategy?

  1. How will you use the Internet to bring offline voters into the campaign at the same numbers as radio or television broadcasts?
  2. What is your online strategy for responding to attack ads and opposition pundits in radio, television and print?
  3. Online community takes time to build and is very hard to organize geographically. What will you do to match the state-by-state primary schedule?
  4. What can you do with online services to serve the campaign in caucus states?
  5. You are preparing for Bush to launch in Spring 2004. What are your countermeasures to reach out to moderate Republicans online while the GOP uses its advanced voter email systems to barrage 200 million validated email addresses?
  6. How will you lower the cost-per-vote vs. the GOP?

The ancient climate change on Mars was caused by regular variation in the planet's tilt, or obliquity, according to new research. On Earth, similar "astronomical forcing" of climate drives ice-age cycles.
